Asma Bakery- The Journey
Asma Sarwari, the visionary behind Asma’s Bakery, had a lifelong passion for baking.
When it came time to establish an online presence, Asma reached out to us for help. We were thrilled to create a website for her that showcases her culinary creations. We wanted to bring to life the playfulness with which Asma creates her baked goodies and marry it with a soft and wholesome graphic look and feel.

Moodboard
A mood board was designed by playing around with different visuals and hues of bakery-related goods and vivid typography to create a vision of a brand and website that is cheerful, attractive, and lighthearted yet encourages curiosity.

Logo
Explorations
Several logos were created using different varieties of fonts, typography, visual elements, and placement of shapes and lines to give a variation of styles to choose from.
Selected identity
Finalised Logo
The finalized logo version was decided with the rectangle shape containing the name of the business inside it along with a snippet of a wheat tip at the top. The brown and golden hues depict the flour in the baked goods along with the sense of supreme quality of their baked goods.
The name of the owner and baker- Asma was emphasized with the word “bakery” at the bottom in small font.

Website Design
The website was custom-designed on WordPress with vivid banners, and an alluring design with sectionals of the different items using bright and vivid hues.
A basic construct of the homepage, about page, contact page and detailed menu tab were added. An online menu was created depicting the baked goods item with imagery, description, and pricing options. A section was also added to take order inquiries along with a detailed footer and an Instagram feed to show products and orders being uploaded from Instagram coming directly to the website.

Brand's Colours
Soft pastel shades in pink, blue, and citrus tones were used to give a soft backdrop and branding guide to not take away from the delectable products and their imagery.
Pattern Elements
Fun and playful icons were added to enhance the cheerfulness of the imagery and web pages in a subtle but effective manner.
